Tuck of the week
Next Thursday’s tuck will be crumpets with jam or cheese. Please ensure you pre-order and pay for tuck using the school meals’ order form.
P.E. Morning
The whole school will be involved in a fun P.E. session on Monday morning. Can you please ensure your child has their P.E. kit and trainers at school on Monday.
Food & Farming Challenge
On Tuesday, 11th March, 11 Enterprise children will accompany Mrs Baldwin and Mrs Staff to Easton College for the grand final of the Primary School Food and Farming Challenge. Enterprise have been working together to complete their challenge of “How to Encourage Healthy Eating by Increasing School Lunch Numbers†The winning school will be invited to display their work in the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association’s education marquee at the Royal Norfolk Show in June.
Energy Busters
On Thursday, 13th March Endeavour are taking part in the second session of the “Energy Busters†outreach programme. Pupils are actively involved in this project, which aims to reduce energy usage in schools, and as a result, save money.
BBC Concert Orchestra
Year 4, 5 and 6 children will be visiting the Showground on Thursday,
13th March to watch one of four performances conducted by Robert Ziegler and presented by CBBC’s Rani Price. The aim of the “Making Tracks†concert is to introduce primary school age children to the power and magic of orchestral music.
Sport Relief 2008
Sport Relief is a fundraising initiative brought to you by Comic Relief. Any money raised is spent by Comic Relief to change lives of people both in the UK and in the world’s poorest countries. Children are invited to come to school on Friday, 14th March dressed as a famous sports personality. If your child would like to take part, could you please send in a donation of at least £1.
Residential Trip
Parents of children attending April’s residential trip to Northumberland are reminded that balance payments are required by the end of this term.
Easter Egg Raffle
As usual we are holding an Easter Egg Raffle for the children on the last day of term. Children can purchase raffle tickets during the last week of term and the school will give every child one free ticket. This event is always much enjoyed! Can parents please send in donations of Easter Eggs from next week. Thank you.
End of Term
You are reminded that school closes at 2p.m. on Thursday, 20th March after the Easter Egg Raffle.
