  • Recent research about the brain – structure, three part brain, left/right side, pole bridging, brain gym, music etc
  • Learning styles – Kolb

  • Multiple intelligences – the work of Gardner
  • The Accelerated Learning Cycle
  • Assignment

  • Discuss today’s session
  • Decide how you will structure your assignment and how you will relate the theory to school practice
  • In observations, observe how different children learn – watch how teachers cater for VAK styles
  • Try out the accelerated learning cycle
